Get Green And Dirty On Watershed Clean-Up Day
Each of us can get green by participating in the Fairfax County Park Authority's Watershed Clean-Up Day set for Saturday October 18, 2008 from 9 to 11:30am. Be part of the International Coastal Cleanup! Individuals, students, families, scouts and other community groups can help clear out the earth's arteries by collecting tires, bed springs, bottles, cans and other debris. Give the waterways in your community a clean bill of health and earn the gratitude of our furred, feathered and scaled neighbors. Wear boots, old clothes and bring gloves. Trash bags and appreciation provided. This is a great community project!
Please join us at one of these sites. We ask that you call to reserve a section of the watershed.
