George Washington – Facility Rental Rates All rates effective 04/01/09 To check availability at George Washington RECenter, call 703-780-8894. See other locations to celebrate in the parks. With an array of birthday party options and star attractions ranging from swimming to miniature golf to nature exploration, there's a party style to suit everyone. Facility Rental Rates: George Washington RECenter Facility Square Footage Capacity Hourly * Fee Security Deposit Entire Facility¹     $250 $300 Activity Room ** 380 16 $30   Swimming Pool Please see Indoor Swimming Pool Rates ¹Non-profit organizations will receive a 20% discount on RECenter rental fees. * One Hour Minimum Rental ** Activity room has a sink, microwave, countertop refrigerator. Security Deposit A security deposit is required on every rental. The security deposit can be paid by check (which is held and returned to you after doing a walk-through following your party) or by credit card if credit card number is on the contract. Rental rooms must be cleaned up and vacated by the time specified on your contract. (Example: A rental scheduled from 4:00 – 5:30 must be vacated by 5:30) If the room is not vacated by the contracted time, a charge for the additional time will accrue in half hour increments. Chairs and Tables Up to 20 chairs and 5 tables are provided with your rental. Extra chairs and tables are available at $2.50 per table and $.75 per chair. Room Rental Party Options As part of your party, you can use the pool. In addition to your room rental price, you will need to pay the General Admission fee for each participant. For groups of 12 or more, you will be charged the group rate, which is 25% off the regular price. Adults who want to go down to the pool, but not in the pool, can pay the chaperone fee of $1.50. Party rental hours are limited to Saturdays: Noon – 6:00pm and Sundays: 1 – 6:00pm. Responsibility for Personal Items If you are swimming before your scheduled room time, you will be responsible for securing your gifts and party accessories. Our front desk cannot be responsible for holding presents, balloons, food, etc. If you want to arrive early to decorate or store your belongings, it is suggested that you rent your room for the extra time needed.
