Mount Vernon Nights Concert Series
Welcome to Mount Vernon Nights with free concerts every Friday evening.
I am excited to share with you this information on the inaugural season of the Mount Vernon Nights concert series. This series of weekly, free public concerts held every Friday evening will feature a wide variety of musical acts from across the United States and from around the world. The variety and quality of the acts is a reflection of Fairfax County’s diversity and community spirit – some of the many qualities which make Fairfax County a wonderful place to call home.
The concerts will be outdoors at Alexandria’s Grist Mill Park. You’re encouraged to bring a picnic dinner and a blanket and to sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
As this is our first season, we are still looking for volunteers to help with all aspects of the concert series, from set-up and staffing at the concerts to planning and working with the Friends of Mount Vernon Nights on this project. If you are interested in helping out, please contact my office at 703-780-7518.
