September
Club Championship, 20 Saturday, 8am-Noon
Burke Lake Golf Course, 703-323-1641. Players compete in an 18 hole individual stroke play event. Players compete in 3 divisions; Men, Women, Senior (60+). Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each division. Closest to the pin contests. Registration begins 2 weeks prior to event. Limited to first 48 players. Rain date: September 27. Cost: $30 due at time of registration.
October
Shot in the Dark Nite Tournament, 10 Friday, 8pm
(12 yrs. and up) Burke Lake Golf Course, 703-323-1641. Teams of 2 play a 9 hole scramble using glow in the dark golf balls. Hors d' oeuvres served beginning at 7pm. Fee includes 1 glow ball and use of recharging light. Additional glow balls are $5 each. Closest to the pin contests. Registration begins 2 weeks prior to event. Limited to first 18 teams. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place teams. Rain date October 17. Cost: $55/team. Fee due at time of registration.
Junior / Parent Tournament, 18 Saturday, 8am- Noon
(7 yrs. and up) Burke Lake Golf Course, 703-323-1641. Teams of 2 players compete in an 18 hole scramble format. Closest to the pin contests. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place teams in 2 age divisions: Adult/Jr. 12 & Under; Adult/Jr. 13-17. Registration begins 2 weeks prior to event. Limited to first 48 teams. Rain date October 25. Cost: $55/team. Fee due at time of registration.
Greendale Golf Course

GLOW IN THE DARK, 2 Person Night Tournament, September 19th, 7 pm Shotgun Start
Teams of two play in a 9 hole scramble event using glow in the dark balls. Prizes for 1st and 2nd place. Dinner and registration are at 6:00 pm and a shot gun start is at 7:00 pm. Greendale's Club Championship, October 4th
Players compete in a 1-day 18-hole tournament. Participants must have a current VSGA handicap at Greendale. There will be four competition brackets: Ladies, Men's, Seniors Men's, & Super Senior Men's. Winners of each bracket will be awarded a personalized reserved parking space for 1 year. Jefferson District Golf Course
July
Junior/Parent Tournament, July 12, 9am
(8 yrs. and up) Jefferson Golf Course, 703-573-0444. Teams of two compete in this alternating shot format. Teams are divided into age groups based upon the child's age: 8-10, 11-13, and 14-17. Prizes awarded and lunch is provided. Reservation required. Rain date is July 19th. Cost is $40 per team for Junior Program members and $50 per team for non-members.
August
Jefferson Golf Course Club Championship, August 16, 8am
Jefferson Golf Course, 703-573-0444. 18-hole individual tournament with competitors placed into flights based upon their front nine scores. Prizes awarded in each flight and for closest to the pin. Advance registration required by August 13. $55 per person (includes greens fees, lunch and prizes). Rain date August 23.
Oak Marr Golf Course

Junior Club Championship, Sunday, September 14, 9:00 a.m.
Junior golfers compete in a nine hole stroke play format. Juniors are divided into different age groups. Trophies will be awarded for each age group and for closest to the pin. Reservations are required. Cost is $20.00 per person. This tournament is only open to FCPA Junior Program Members. Rain date is September 21st. Superintendent's Halloween Revenge, Wednesday, October 29

Twin Lakes Golf Course

8th Annual Independence Tournament — Thursday July 3rd
1pm shot gun start on the Lakes Course. Check in for the tournament will begin at 11:30 am. Two person scramble with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Closest to the pin and long drive contests.
