Hoofers & Heifers 4-H Club

The Hoofers and Heifers is Frying Pan's very own 4-H livestock club. The only livestock club in Fairfax County, the Hoofers and Heifers work with the park animals at Kidwell Farm. Throughout the year members learn about sheep, cattle, goats, swine, and poultry. The club focuses on basic animal science, livestock showmanship, and leadership. Members participate in a variety of club and park sponsored events, county and state 4-H competitions, and livestock shows like the annual 4-H Fair.

Meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at 7PM in the Schoolhouse at Frying Pan Farm Park. New members are welcome. Questions may be directed to the Assistant Farm Manager at 703-437-5318.
