 Established
in the early 1970s, the Friends of the Centreville
Regional Library have been active supporters
of the Library from its inception. Since 2005,
a new group of talented and enthusiastic volunteers
has revitalized the Friends organization.
The Friends maintain ongoing fund raising activities with proceeds benefiting
the Centreville Regional Library and the system as a whole. Strong advocates
for the public library, their effective support for two bond issues providing
capital for both the property and building of the Centreville Regional Library
was particularly impressive.
As they look to the future, the Friends of the Centreville Regional Library will
continue to grow in size and influence as a vital resource for the Library and
its community.
