Specialized Mental Health Services
  • If you have lost a family member or friend as a result of a tragedy or disaster, the war, the shootings or other terrorist acts, or are experiencing distressing feelings about other events, and want to talk it over with a specialized mental health professional, consider the following steps:
    • Check with your employer's employee assistance program, your health insurance carrier, or your local mental health center and providers to learn what benefits and services may be available to you.
    • If you are a resident of Fairfax County or the Cities of Fairfax or Falls Church and are interested in registering for a specialized grief support group for adults or children, please call:
